On behalf of the Turkish Thoracic Society (TTS), it is our great pleasure and honor to announce the 29^th Annual Congress, which will take place on April 8–12, 2026, at the Susesi Luxury Resort Hotel in Antalya, Türkiye. We warmly invite you to participate in this prestigious scientific gathering and share in the exchange of knowledge, innovation, and collaboration.

This year, we have chosen a theme of profound national and global significance in healthcare: “Equality and Equity in Health.” We recognize that without justice, health cannot be achieved, and without health, equity cannot be realized. The guiding principles of diversity, inclusivity, and justice, which are becoming increasingly vital across all domains of society, are equally fundamental to our field. We advocate for a world where differences are acknowledged and valued, and where fair and equitable access to healthcare services is ensured for all individuals.

Together, we will highlight how regional, socioeconomic, and gender-based disparities in healthcare access impact not only individuals but the health of entire populations. Guided by this perspective, our foremost objective is to critically discuss the essential role of justice and equity in health policy formulation, supported by robust scientific evidence, and to explore viable solutions.

We take great pride in developing the congress program in collaboration with the invaluable contributions and recommendations of all our constituents, including TTS members, branches, working groups, and special committees.

Turkish Thoracic Society 29^th Annual Congress will be held at Susesi Hotel & Congress Center.

Congress Dates

Turkish Thoracic Society 29^th Annual Congress will start on 08 April 2026 with courses continue with the sessions on 09 April 2026 and will end on 12 April 2026 at 12:00 noon.

Language

The official congress language is Turkish. Simultaneous translation will be available for international sessions and speakers.

CME

All sessions of the congress will be credited by the Turkish Medical Association Continuing Medical Crediting (CME) board.

Name Badge

Name badges will be distributed to all registered participants and all registered participants will be requested to wear the badges during the scientific and social sessions.

Certificate of Attendance

Certificates will be available on the congress website within 5 days after the conclusion of the congress. Participants will be able to download their certificates by entering their name and surname.

Permissions and Invitation

Invitation letters for institutional permissions will be provided by the Organization Secretariat upon request. These letters are for permission purposes only. Registration and accommodation expenses remain the responsibility of the participant.

Exhibition Area

During the congress, the booth area created by the pharmaceutical industry, medical companies and publishing houses will be open between 08:30 - 18:30.

• For participants registering on a daily basis, an additional external participation fee of 80 EUR + VAT (20%) per day will be charged on top of the congress registration fee. Guests who do not book accommodation are required to pay this external participation fee together with their registration fee in order to access the congress center. The external participation fee for non-accommodating guests includes lunch and coffee breaks between 08:30–18:00.
• All speakers, delegates and company representatives are required to pay the registration fee to participate in sessions.
• Registration will only be considered valid after the following steps are completed: sending your request to [email protected], receiving the budget from us, confirming the budget, and submitting the bank receipt showing that the required payments have been made to the designated account(s) either to K2 Congress and Event Services directly or via e-mail. Applications submitted only with a bank receipt, or requests without prior budget confirmation, will not be accepted and will be placed on the waiting list.

Cancellation Policies for Registration

All reservation cancellations must be notified in writing to K2 Congress and Event Services.

• Cancellations received by February 7, 2026 will be fully refunded.
• Cancellations received between February 7 – February 10, 2026 will be refunded at 50% of the total amount.
• For cancellations made after February 10, 2026, no refunds will be issued.
• For payments to be made in Turkish Lira, please contact the Congress Secretariat.

• In all congress hotels, the single-to-double room conversion supplement will be charged as €140 + VAT (10%) per night.
• The above package rates are excluding VAT (10%), based on 4 nights (April 8 check-in – April 12 check-out) under the all-inclusive concept.
• 10% VAT will be added to all accommodation fees.

External Participation Fee

• Participants not booking accommodation through K2 Congress & Event Services in congress hotels will be charged an additional €80 + VAT (20%) per day as an external participation fee.
• This fee must be paid together with the registration fee in order to access the congress venue.
• The external participation fee covers lunches and coffee breaks between 08:30–18:00.

Accommodation Booking Procedure

Accommodation bookings will be confirmed only after:

1. A budget proposal is requested by contacting [email protected]
2. The proposed budget is approved, and
3. The related payment receipt (bank slip) is submitted to K2 Congress & Event Services either by e-mail or in person.

• Applications submitted only with a bank slip or without budget confirmation will not be accepted and will be placed on the waiting list.
